MediLog Recording System

For the Microsoft Research Design Expo, 2007 my team explored the role that uncertainty plays in medical practice. We interviewed patients faced with unexpected circumstances and medical practitioners about methods for supporting patients need to cope with uncertainty. Intrigued by findings that audio recorded during traumatic appoints is useful and desirable from many perspectives, we designed a device to map the dialog between doctor and patient to make the recording more accessible.
